I have worked as a Translator for over 40 years and have experience in the Legal and Financial sector.
About Us
After working at George Wimpey and Co. Ltd., civil-engineers, in W. London and then, in full-time French/Spanish/Italian/Portuguese translating/interpreting at John Walker and Sons Ltd. H.Q., whisky-distillers, in Central London, I was (1979) head-hunted by a Channel Islands-based Patent Attorney to start a translating/interpreting agency in Jersey. Having spent 5 yrs building up the agency’s goodwill, still thriving and employing me currently, I moved to Guernsey, where I have spent the past 30 years, working as a freelance translator/interpreter in a range of domains, inc.: banking, finance, property-development, law and compliance and medical matters, as well as with local police, customs, prison and fisheries authorities, and equally in tourism, as a multi-lingual guide, also intermittently researching ‘ancient’/historic documents in handwritten French, at both Guernsey’s and Jersey’s local Archives.
